- plywood or chipboard;
- wooden beams, fiberboard.
Step-by-step instructions for making a round pouf with buttons
You can make your own changes and adjustments to our scheme using the materials and tools available.
We prepare the frame. We use plywood and pine timber.
We hammer in fiberboard along the perimeter of the side.
On the foam rubber we mark the places for the buttons.
We drill holes for the buttons.
We stretch the fabric.
We tighten the buttons into the holes made.
We fix the buttons on the inside of the pouf.
We nail the fabric around the top and bottom.
Cut off the excess.
We mark the cover under the buttons.
We use a marker for marking.
The size of the rhombus can be selected at your discretion.
We stretch the buttons through the cut with imitation of a coach tie.
This step-by-step guide uses flock fabric.
The bottom of the lid is upholstered with non-woven fabric, although this is not necessary.
We use a pneumatic gun or a hand stapler for upholstery.
We fasten the plastic legs.
A large round ottoman with imitation of a carriage tie (capitonné) is ready!
